MORE ABOUT THE GRAND, FRANK GEHRY AND JOSE ANDRES
The Grand by Gehry LA is a residential tower located in downtown Los Angeles. It was designed by architect Frank Gehry and completed in 2019. The tower is part of The Grand, a mixed-use development that includes apartments, retail space, and a luxury hotel.
The Grand by Gehry LA is 39 stories tall and contains 436 residential units, ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments. The building features a distinctive design with a sculptural, undulating facade made of stainless steel. The apartments offer panoramic views of the city and surrounding landscape, and the building includes a variety of amenities, such as a rooftop pool and lounge, fitness center, screening room, and 24-hour concierge.

WHO IS JOSE ANDRES
Jose Andres is a Spanish-American chef, restaurateur, and humanitarian. He is the founder of the ThinkFoodGroup, a restaurant group that operates more than 30 restaurants around the world. Andres is also known for his philanthropic work, including his efforts to provide disaster relief through his nonprofit organization, World Central Kitchen. Andres was born in Asturias, Spain in 1969 and trained as a chef in some of the country's most renowned restaurants. He moved to the United States in the 1990s and began working in Washington, D.C., where he eventually opened his first restaurant, Jaleo, in 1993. Since then, he has opened a wide range of other restaurants in the U.S. and beyond, including minibar, Zaytinya, and the Bazaar by Jose Andres.
In addition to his culinary work, Andres has been recognized for his humanitarian efforts. He founded World Central Kitchen in 2010 to provide food relief in the wake of natural disasters and other crises around the world. The organization has provided millions of meals to people in need, including those affected by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, the COVID-19 pandemic, and other emergencies. Andres has also been a vocal advocate for immigration reform and other social causes. He has received numerous awards and honors for his work, including the National Humanities Medal in 2015 and the TIME 100 list of most influential people in the world in 2018.
WHO IS FRANK GEHRY
Frank Gehry is a Canadian-American architect and designer. He was born in Toronto, Canada in 1929 and moved to California in 1947 to study architecture at the University of Southern California. Gehry is known for his striking, innovative designs, which often incorporate bold, sculptural forms and unexpected materials.
Gehry has designed a wide range of buildings and structures around the world, from museums and concert halls to office buildings and private homes. Some of his most famous works include the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris.
