OUR PREGNANCY ANNOUNCEMENT WITH A THROWING UP SELFIE

At our apartment in New York. Little did my wife know I was taking this selfie, while the poor thing was throwing up. WE ARE PREGNANT!

Another typical day of throwing up and feeling like shit (for her, not for me). The joys associated with the early stages of our first pregnancy. Yes… I am going to be a father! Scray!

Another typical day of throwing up and feeling like shit (for her, not for me). The joys associated with the early stages of our first pregnancy. Yes… I am going to be a father! Scray!

In wanting to wait until we passed the “safe-to announce” stage, we have been thinking of ways to announce it to our friends and family via social media. Well, on one of these fun mornings where my wife wrapped her arms around the toilet and I stood by showing my support by just being there and agreeing with her that “I have no idea what it is like to be pregnant”… I decided to snap a photo without her noticing.

To post or not to post?

Obviously I posted. Once it was up on Facebook and Twitter, it took off. Then my friend from the PappasPost.com shared this on his popular website and off it went into the world of becoming “viral”.

All jokes aside, we are extremely excited to share this exciting news and to become parents soon enough. Hopefully you can see the humor in sharing this announcement like we did.

Let the PappasPost.com better explain below or by clicking here:

Photo of the Day: How One Greek Canadian Marketing Entrepreneur Announced His Wife’s Pregnancy with a Selfie

Leave it to a social media and marketing entrepreneur to announce to the world that he and his wife are expecting their first child— in a way that might very well go viral online. Canadian-born George Stroumboulis shot a selfie of his wife Constandina Shakolas Stroumboulis hugging the porcelain god in what appears to be her first round of morning sickness. In the typical smile of any great selfie-taker, George shows his happiness with a “thumbs up”. He posted the photo on his Facebook page and tweeted it moments later.

George runs a marketing strategy agency based in New York City. He’s a jack of all trades in various related fields and has worked in more than a dozen nations around the world.

No word yet if George will still be married to see the birth of his first child— His wife has yet to respond to his Facebook post or Tweet.

Tweet your congratulations to George.

Editor’s note: Best wishes to my close friend and Greek community confidant and supporter. Best wishes to you and Constandina. Kali Lefteria as we Greeks say and thanks for allowing me to share this “special” moment with the world via The Pappas Post. With love, Greg
