TED MAGAZINE AWARDS GEORGE STROUMBOULIS WITH MARKETING EXCELLENCE AWARD FOR BEST CAMPAIGN
George Stroumboulis received a prestigious Best of the Best Marketing Excellence award from tED Magazine, the official publication of the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED), on August 15th.
Presented during the 2011 NAED AdVenture Electrical Marketing Conference in Chicago, Solais Lighting received the Best of the Best Award in the “Integrated Promotional Campaign (Manufacturer Under $250 Million)” category for its successful and well-connected drive to convey the benefits of its “Environmentally Friendly LED Lighting.”
Judged by an experienced panel of industry professionals, tED’s Best of the Best marketing challenge and awards ceremony is held annually to recognize those manufacturers and distributors who exemplify the very best marketing practices in the electrical industry. Winners are selected by judges from among hundreds of industry entries spanning across 12 different marketing categories.
Solais’ winning promotional campaign incorporated a series of branded sales and marketing tools designed to communicate the tangible environmental savings end users will realize when upgrading to Solais LED lamps. Campaign messaging comprehended a broad range of marketing and communication mediums, including product packaging, point-of-purchase merchandisers, literature and trade show materials, an iPhone® application and an interactive website calculator.
